Loughborough Student Guide – A student’s honest opinion

Loughborough

A student’s honest opinion

“I’ve really been challenged at Loughborough but at the same time I feel like I’ve had some of the best times of my life here.

My course was pretty intense, so don’t expect an easy ride in any subject- Loughborough has some high standards and they intend to stick by them- after all Loughborough is a real rising university so it has to keep standards up. I can’t complain though- working hard means I am put the test and use my full potential.

A beautiful dusk in Loughborough.

They say ‘work hard play hard’ and this is true at Loughborough. The nightlife is mainly aimed at the students which is really cool as they put on lots of theme nights or give out goodies or have special incentives. The town could have a few more shops but overall Loughborough is a cool place to live and study!” Yasmin, 21
