The University of Hull.

Hull is home to one university, the University of Hull, which provides places of study to over 22,000 students every year. The main campus can be found in North Hull on Cottingham Road. The university also has a smaller campus in Scarborough and is a partner with the Grimsby Institute of Further and Higher Education. In 2010, The Hull History Centre opened on Worship Street in the city centre. The Centre is a partnership between the City Library and the University Library and combines Hull City Library’s Local Studies collections and Hull University’s archives.

The University of Hull offers a range of different courses, the courses are divided into 8 faculties: Faculty of Science, Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences, Faculty of Health and Social Care, Faculty of Education, Hull York Medical School, the Postgraduate Medical Institute, Hull University Business School, the Wilberforce Institute, and the Maritime Historical Studies Centre. The University of Hull enjoys a solid reputation and performs consistently in the league tables. In 2012, The Complete University Guide placed the university 62nd in the national league tables.
